Abstract

The project of Cultural Center and Museum “Enrique Tabara” is the result of the particular initiative of the artist Enrique Tabara to leave a legacy of artistic production and co-llection of pre-Columbian pieces. The architectural complex will be implanted in the field lo-cated in the sector of Cuatro mangas, Buena Fe, province of Los Ríos, in front of the artist’s current address. At present the sector and in general the province lacks cultural equipment, reason why the building pretends to become a point of cultural development and in turn the building must become an architectural landmark for the region.The project seeks to generate an interaction between the building and the context starting from the conditions of the place, as much for the endowment of open spaces as; Squares and green areas, stop generating cultural activities and social interaction, as well as innova-tion in the formal and constructive proposal of the volume, expected results to be obtained through the strategies proposed. The architectural party is the result of the analysis of the conditioners of the place (context), as; Surrounding landscape, scale and topographical features of the terrain. As well as the spatial content of cultural centers was considered, translating them into an idea that allows me to take advantage of the context and content to achieve a permanent interaction.
