Teatro – Biblioteca Municipal Bahía de Caráquez.

Abstract

Bahia de Caraquez is a city that was shaked by the 16th April 2016 earthquake, different fields like economy, turism and architecture were affected suffering a lot of loosses for this catastrophe, the theater was one of the main cultural and historic icons that was affected by this affair, for this reason the objective of the present assignment is to create a preliminar Thea-ter-Library project for the city. The project generator idea is that exist an integration and activities relationship through the hierarchy of a principal axis of horizontal and vertical circulation, to design soft and polivalent spaces that allow users to develop cultural, educative and artistic activities. The project consists in a theater for 500 people, it also requires a flexible structure and a quick mounting that permits long distances where the circulation coould not be interrupted.
