Declinación del Nombre del Padre y su influencia en la fragilidad del lazo amoroso en la mujer adolescente.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the influence of the symbolic decline of the Name of the Father on the fragility of the love bond in adolescent women, using the film Lady Bird (2018), directed by Greta Gerwig, as a reference point for analysis. The work was carried out using a qualitative approach under an interpretive paradigm and based on the descriptive method. Through content analysis of relevant scenes and dialogues from psychoanalytic categories such as the Name of the Father, the paternal metaphor, the phantom, and the fragility of the love bond. The data analyzed yielded results that revealed a weakened paternal function, as a symbolic operator that introduces the law and regulates maternal desire. When this function is inconsistent in a woman's adolescence, it generates effects on the subjective constitution that possibly lead to fragile and repetitive love bonds. These elements translated into affective choices characterized by instability, dependence, and the search for completeness in the Other. Likewise, the analysis showed that the fragility of the love bond does not respond solely to social or family determinations, but to the way in which the paternal function is symbolically inscribed in subjectivity.
