Impacto de las acciones del proyecto cuidado responsable en los beneficiarios del sector del cerro San Eduardo.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of the actions of the Responsible Care Project on the beneficiaries of the Cerro San Eduardo sector through the analysis of pet guardians in the sector, the identification of the activities carried out by the Responsible Care project and the evaluation of the level of acceptance. The project was carried out in the Cerro San Eduardo sector of the city of Guayaquil. The methodology was of a mixed approach (qualitative-quantitative) of descriptive scope, with a non-experimental, crossfield design. A survey was applied to a random sample of 100 inhabitants of the sector who own pets. The results showed that there are positive indicators regarding responsible pet care, as well as the importance of sterilization, deworming and vaccinations as activities carried out by the project and that are well valued by the community
