Abstract

Constitutionally, the notarial service is a public service, which is an auxiliary part of the Judicial Function and is governed by the Council of the Judiciary for its organization, control, economic and disciplinary regime and determination of rates among other important aspects. Part of this Notarial Service is executed by the Notarial Computer System of the Judicial Function that was designed to provide speed, effectiveness and efficiency to the citizens who request notarial services in the country and which came into operation in 2015 after the respective regulations and reforms that the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the Organic Code of the Judicial Function, the Notarial Law and the Resolutions of the Council of the Judiciary have carried out for this purpose, however with all this modernization process carried out there is a need to implement the necessary additional options that guarantee online access to the information of notarial acts in Ecuador, so that users can obtain certified file copies, without the need to move from one canton to another and from any part of the country with due security, saving time and money, guaranteeing greater agility, efficiency and effectiveness in the processing of the same, which is why this research has been developed, in order to generate a proposal that allows obtaining a solution to this problem.
