Análisis del segmento MICE en la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present project study a diagnosis that involves the theme of business tourism and events within the city of Guayaquil, since being a tourism sector of vital importance, it has been considered that it presents a certain lack of information, therefore, it is important to know how MICE tourism influences the tourist and economic development of this city. It should also be mentioned that as this research work has been developed, the health crisis caused by Covid-19 emerged, which has had a very large impact on the development of business tourism globally, so we have compiled all the information related to the different biosecurity measures that must be implemented from now on. At the same time, with the help of experts in the field, we have been able to try to analyze where this tourism industry is heading and what is the best way to face the new normal that is happening today in our city. This research is constituted by four correctly defined chapters within which through the revised theories it is intended to define various aspects of MICE tourism in Guayaquil. Following this, an investigation will be established within the population to know the needs about this industry. As a final point, the proposal of the MICE tourism guide will be shown to serve as a reference for the city of Guayaquil
