Teatro Biblioteca Municipal - Bahía de Caráquez.

Abstract

The present work, through a process of rigorous analysis and research, intends to create a proposal for the design of a Theater - Library on a state assigned by the Bahía de Caráquez Muni-cipality. The state is located in Bolívar street between Ascázubi and Riofrío in the north of the city. The Theater - Library is a necessity for the population of Bahia de Caraquez due to the lack of space to present artistic or cultural plays since the previous theater was demolished because of damage caused by the earthquake on April 16, 2016. The purpose is to design a building that is related with the surrounding buildings and provide its own identity through the facades the inspired in ornament of ceremonial ceramic pots of the Bahia Culture. With a freecolumn space is achieved different floor plants, open spaces, flexible uses, an integration area with specifications on walls, floors, doors and windows so good acoustics.
