| Résumé: | The present research aims to determine the influence of investment in education on economic growth in Ecuador, period 2000-2016. This relationship will demonstrate why investing in education, human capital, technology and research and development is a key element for the economic growth and development of nations. Therefore, a theoretical framework and empirical studies will be developed with the respective investment theories in education, human capital, economic growth, technology and research and development to corroborate the present work. In addition, tha quantitative, correlational-causal method will be used, allowing the analysis of the variables through a numerical platform and proceed to elaborate the corresponding reports using the statistical and econometric tools. Finally, the main conclusion is that investment in education positively influences high levels of accessibility, confidence and commitment to economic growth in Ecuador for the period of study with prospects for future generations that provide contributions and concrete government policies aimed for the benefit of the Ecuadorian community. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la influencia de l a inversión en educación en el crecimiento económico del Ecuador, período 2000-2016. Esta relación demostrará por que invertir en educación, capital humano, tecnología e investigación y desarrollo es un elemento fundamental para el crecimiento y desarrollo económico de las naciones. Por consiguiente, se desarrollará un marco teórico y estudios de origen empíricos con las respetivas teorías de inversión en educación, capital humano, crecimiento económico, tecnología e investigación y desarrollo para corroborar el presente trabajo. Además se empleará el método cuantitativo, correlacional causal el cual permitirá examinar a través de una plataforma numérica las variables objetos de estudio y proceder a elaborar los informes correspondientes utilizando las herramientas estadísticas y econométricas. Finalmente, como principal conclusión se determinó que la inversión en educación influye de manera positiva con altos grados de accesibilidad, confianza y compromiso hacia el crecimiento económico del Ecuador para el período de estudio, con perspectivas hacia las futuras generaciones que brinden contribuciones y concretas políticas gubernamentales encaminadas en beneficio de la comunidad ecuatoriana. |
