| dc.description | El fin de este trabajo de titulación es diseñar experiencias turísticas sostenibles en el Parque Samanes para establecerlo como un ejemplo de turismo urbano responsable en Guayaquil. Para lograr esto, se llevó a cabo un diagnóstico integral del parque, teniendo en cuenta sus atributos sociales, recreativos, de infraestructura y naturales, además de la percepción y las expectativas de quienes lo visitan. Se aplicó metodología descriptiva a partir de un enfoque mixto, donde se aplicaron 385 encuestas y adicionales entrevistas a visitantes y personal asiduo del parque: donde se detectó un ostensible interés en programas ecológicos. A partir de estos descubrimientos, se sugiere la creación de experiencias sustentables que incorporen la educación ambiental, el turismo experiencial y la implicación de los ciudadanos, con el fin de fomentar la preservación de los recursos naturales y reforzar el vínculo entre el parque y la comunidad. En conclusión, el Parque Samanes tiene un gran potencial para convertirse en un modelo de turismo urbano sostenible en Ecuador. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this thesis is to design sustainable tourism experiences in Samanes Park to establish it as an example of responsible urban tourism in Guayaquil. To achieve this, a comprehensive assessment of the park was conducted, considering its social, recreational, infrastructural, and natural attributes, as well as the perceptions and expectations of its visitors. A descriptive methodology was applied using a mixed-methods approach, including 385 surveys and additional interviews with visitors and regular park staff. This revealed a clear interest in ecological programs. Based on these findings, the creation of sustainable experiences incorporating environmental education, experiential tourism, and citizen involvement is proposed, with the goal of promoting the preservation of natural resources and strengthening the bond between the park and the community. In conclusion, Samanes Park has great potential to become a model of sustainable urban tourism in Ecuador. | en_US |
