Abstract

The present research on: Analysis of mobile applications as support for the design of a support tool that contributes to the adaptation of Ecuadorian migrants in the United States, seeks to identify the adaptation processes of Ecuadorian migrants in the U.S. through mobile applications. It is expected to identify those new ways that can help them integrate in key aspects of life, such as documentation, employment, health, education and support networks. Thus, the applications that have been considered include those existing digital tools on procedures for immigrants: labor rights and platforms for accessing health services that link migrants in need of help with supportive communities. Based on these comparisons, it is recommended that a new application be designed to be accessible; this means not only that users can find the information they need tailored to their specific situation, but also how easy it will be to use. This tool aims to increase the social and economic inclusion of Ecuadorian migrants, facilitating their adaptation by reducing barriers.
