Abstract

This study looks to evaluate the feasibility of a youth sports center specializing in badminton in the city of Guayaquil through the growing demand for specialized sports and the current lack of supply in the region. The research encompasses the review of relevant literature and similar studies to comprehend the theoretical context, as well as the application of qualitative and quantitative methods to pinpoint the needs and preferences of the target audience. Some environmental variables may influence this decision-making process, and strategies based on the results obtained in the market analysis are drawn up. Financial viability is also established through a sufficient economic study based on existing demand and market preferences. This study presents the development of a center that will relieve the deficiency in badminton facilities and contribute toward the healthy and social development of youth by offering quality infrastructure that supports social bonding. The creation of this center has the potential to energize the local economy, generate employment, and support the development of sports talents at both national and international levels, fostering an active and healthy lifestyle among young people.
