Abstract

The Fire Departments are entities that provide various services to society, however, the sources of financing they have are those from the income from collection of the various rates charged, at present these institutions do not have enough income can not cover the demands of society. Due to the constant demographic, commercial, industrial and service growth of the city of Manta, it is a real challenge for the Fire Department to maintain the quantity and quality of the services it has traditionally been providing in the same way to meet the new needs of citizens. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to propose the restructuring of the values collected in the Manta Fire Department for the different fees for services. For the development of the research, a bibliographic documentary study is proposed, that is, data will be obtained from secondary information sources, especially from the laws, resolutions and implementing regulations, on the other hand, also took into consideration various previous investigations developed. The investigation has determined that there are two elements, on the one hand, the restructuring of the rates currently charged by the Fire Department in such a way that an income higher than the current one collected is obtained. And finally the incorporation of new rates. All this with the aim of delivering a quality service to society.
