Abstract

The general objective of the research is to determine the incidence of motivation on work performance in the SITUECONST CIA LTDA Construction Company, located in the Province of Sucumbíos in the Shushufindi canton, 2024, with the purpose of promoting the motivation and work performance variables. that intervene in the development of the company and the productivity of collaborators. The established approach is quantitative, experimental, descriptive, analytical, documentary, by compiling the definitions of each element that make up the reference framework and theoretical framework, applying inductive methods that go from the particular to the general and a cross-sectional correlational design and hypothetico-deductive. For the sample, information collection techniques were applied through the survey established in 44 questions to 31 collaborators, with a Likert scale width from 1 to 5 in categories; "strongly disagree", equivalent to 1, "disagree", equivalent to 2, "undecided", equivalent to 3, "agree" equivalent to 4, and "strongly agree", which is equivalent to 5. In the reliability analysis, the result was: Cronbach's alpha of 95%, using SPSS Software, through Pearson's evaluation hypothesis test, resulting in a significance level of 0.000 (α<0.05). The result of R2 gave a result of 0.985 and Pearson r of 0.993, determining that motivation positively and significantly influences the work performance of the collaborators in the civil works construction company in Shushufindi, for which motivational strategies are proposed that allow improvement of working conditions and attitudes, performance and productivity in general.
