Abstract

The need for a Community Neighborhood Equipment arises from the defciency of collective spaces of this kind in the city of Guayaquil. A community center is known as a space that provides different personalized services through activities such as advice and support to different communities. The main objective and mission of the project is to achieve the integration spaces whose activities can manage to generate and allow the development of a functional community, linked to a base program, which is capable of adapting and adjusting to the required needs of the different neighborhoods from the city. In view of the natural, infrastructure and socio-cultural problems analyzed, strategies are proposed in order to respond and resolve the aforementioned circumstances, seeking in this way that the project, from its conception, is capable of fulflling and generating well-being, community union and a sense of belonging in its users with spaces for education, recreation and rest.
