Optimización de la red de acceso GPON a nivel de la ODN en la ciudad de Durán.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is the optimization of the GPON access network of a telecommunications company, in the city of Durán, and 2 studies of its architecture are carried out, which implies the OLT Central Office which is with all its ODN and busy PON ports in order to change the splitting level. The verification of the ports distributed to the panorama sector is carried out, which have the power of PON ports, and currently works with a split level of 1x32 and verifying the technical characteristics of the OLT reaches a split level of 1x64 in each port. PON therefore a bad distribution of these ports is generated, and which does not allow future expansions. In chapter 1, the study of the concepts that define the GPON access networks is carried out, verifying the technical characteristics and international standards in order to maintain the correct parameters and not affect the transmission of data and to be able to provide a quality service to satisfy customers. new customers from different sectors of this canton. In chapter 3, a design is executed, and the results are analyzed to determine if the network can support the level of splitteo that is going to be implemented and be able to provide the services offered by this company, thus guaranteeing high transmission speeds.
