Abstract

The research work "Fetishism as a subjective resource in neurosis" was directed towards an analysis of it as a resource to decant the banalized conceptualization of the term, starting from a current panorama, in such a way that it allows the reader a better understanding of its way. to operate, based on a historical journey of the conception that is given to sexuality depending on the paradigm in which it is found. Through the qualitative approach, descriptive method and in turn worked with the interpretative paradigm; The techniques used were a review of the literature to carry out a study on how the social context welcomes the raised topic, another technique used were semistructured interviews to enrich the research through professionals specialized in the central theme. Another technique used were semi-structured interviews to enrich the research through professionals specialized in the central theme; for their part, the instruments used in this project were texts, films, cases, videos and websites; while the chosen population were specialized clinical psychologists and the sample used was non-probabilistic.The result was, the current social context does not radically deprive the subject of enjoying their sexuality and the fetish in the and the fetishism in current neuroses responds to a condition attributed to it by the subject.
