Proceso de atención de los trabajadores sociales en la ruta de atención a niños, niñas y adolescentes en condición de abuso sexual : estudio de instituciones en el cantón Portoviejo.

Abstract

The present investigation arises from analyzing the care process of Social Workers, in the Care Route for children and adolescents in conditions of sexual abuse. Study of institutions in the Portoviejo canton. According to statistical data obtained worldwide, they indicate that in 90% of the cases the perpetrators of sexual abuse of children, their aggressors are close relatives and neighbors, however, there is a percentage that ranges between 65% and 80% that indicates that the aggressors are the parents of the victims themselves. (Podesta (2011) cited by Carrera, 2018, p. 4). In reading the first chapter, readers will be able to understand the "Problem Statement" from a constructivist perspective, arguing the reason for an applied type of research. Finally, there are the objectives and research questions that marked the path and give meaning to the execution of this investigation. In the second chapter, it is structured by the theoretical framework and the conceptual referent, as an input to understand the information collected, using the following theories; Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory and Berge's theory of social constructivism; followed by the conceptual referent of categories boys, girls and adolescents, sexual abuse, social work, protection area, intervention route. The third chapter is structured by the methodology, in which it is exposed, the research approach, the level, the convenient and chosen method to use, and in an academically explanatory way how this methodological choice will contribute to the construction of the results proposed in Chapter 4. Also the categories that were the result of the documentary, bibliographical review and analysis that allowed to design the operationalization matrix of variables obtained from the analysis of this study. The fourth chapter responds to the results according to the objectives that were raised at the beginning of the investigation, through the mixed approach, based on this, the triangulation of the results that make up this chapter is achieved; finally, in chapter 5, the conclusions are presented in a precise way, based on what was found in the results of chapter 4. In addition, the respective recommendations that are developed from the results obtained within the study are presented.
