Abstract

The population grows over time and the city grows, so more and more areas are needed to produce or live. In the case of Mount Sinai, located in the city of Guayaquil, it gave in an uncontrolled way to such an extent that it became an informal growth and formed invasion areas that over the years became much more extensive. All this results in the absence of urban spaces necessary to provide social welfare to the community, especially the low-income community. Mount Sinai does not currently have the requirements of a healthy life in which the community can develop social for the inhabitants of this neighborhood. On the other hand, the lack of resources, quality education and stable infrastructure means that young people and adults in the sector have to live day to day and in an unfavourable quality. The Kairós Foundation ; represented by Father Simon; with the aim of benefitting the community both economically and socially, joined as a client the project of Centro Comericlar and parking, This is planned to be able to benefit the same community by providing jobs and areas of social interaction.
