Abstract

The present investigation arises from evidencing the high rates of emergency alerts and complaints of gender violence against women in the city of Guayaquil, but with the problem that the complainants do not complete the process that is carried out and they do not achieve their purpose. For this reason, two theories were selected for the research, the gender theory and the network theory, which contribute to the understanding and interpretation of the behavior of women, and the processes of the 21 local institutions that make up the system of Integral protection. Regarding the methodology, the research has a qualitative approach, with a descriptive research level and the use of two techniques, the documentary review with its respective instrument, the institutional file, and the interview with its respective instrument of the interview guide. The results of the research are disclosed as an information tool with an academic, political and social purpose on the care route to prevent and eradicate gender violence against women, in addition, the programs, strategies, skills and role fulfilled by each local institution that integrates the protection system.
