Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de un centro especializado en pacientes pediátricos con síndrome de la respiración bucal, Guayaquil.

Abstract

The objective of this research is a feasibility study for the creation of a Specialized Center for pediatric patients with Oral Breathing Syndrome (CRS) in the city of Guayaquil. A quantitative methodology was applied with a descriptive approach in which the characteristics that define the SRB syndrome and the feasibility of creating a specialty center were analyzed, the information is obtained through a survey applied to the parents of pediatric patients. In the process, comparisons were made with other dental health organizations in the public and private sectors. Finally, an economic study was carried out which shows favorable results given that within the results of the financial indicators a positive investment return is evidenced, representing a NPV of $ 47,444.66 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 68% which is higher than the minimum required rate of 14%, which evidences at first instance the solvency and economic liquidity that the center would have, as well as the financial maturity to sustain itself over time.
