Análisis de los factores económicos que incidieron en el volumen de exportaciones de camarón del Ecuador al mercado chino en épocas de pandemia Covid-19.

Abstract

The present research work will address the issue that there was a decrease in the volume of Ecuadorian shrimp exports to the Chinese market in 2020, due to the Covid 19 pandemic that affected all export sectors because the government of Lcdo. Lenin Moreno decreed a state of health emergency that restricted free movement to maintain a confinement of most of the population. Due to this problem, the following general objective is proposed: Analyze the economic factors that affected the volume of shrimp exports from Ecuador to the Chinese market in times of the Covid 19 pandemic period 2019-2020. The investigation will be deductive and analytical, it will have a mixed approach, so it will be of a descriptive correlational type and for the collection of information will be used documents and news that have quantitative and qualitative data of the Ecuadorian shrimp sector; in addition, the information collected will be primary, so it will be obtained from the page as: the INEC, La Cámara de Acuacultura, Trademap, Banco Mundial, Pro Ecuador, Banco Central del Ecuador, SRI, among others On other hand, it was use an econometric software called Eviews 12 and Excel to tabulate and analyze the variables that affect exports that are the PIB of China, the real exchange rate, the price of shrimp in pounds and the sale of shrimp in Ecuador. To analyze the data econometric methods such as autocorrelation, heteroskedasticity, multicollinearity, least squares, etc were used. What gave us as a result that the export volume was affected by the fall in China's GDP and the real exchange rate and the solution would be to have better relations with China and lower tariffs so that more can be exported
