Abstract

The international flower market suffered a negative impact due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which generated the possibility of studying the logistic processes to apply them in an efficient way to generate a prompt recovery and development in the Ecuadorian flower export market. The present research has been characterized by the study of the logistic theories, referential and legal terms that surround the Ecuadorian flower market with a view to export. In addition to the foundation of the theoretical framework in its breadth regarding the area and topic. In turn, also in the presentation of the methodological framework where the sources of information to assertively carry out the research have been highlighted. Adding to this, the decision by means of the qualitative methods to be used in the execution of the research. Through the Pestel and SWOT analysis, it was possible to recognize the contexts and environments that the market goes through, in order to generate a proposal that fulfills the function of a guide through which the floricultural producers can obtain the most efficient mechanisms and guidelines, both for the selection of their products to be exported, as well as the territory to be targeted. In addition, they have sufficient academic resources to select a logistic operator that will allow them to reach their maximum efficiency point.
