Abstract

The objective of this project is to design an interactive tourist guide about the city of Kaohsiung for travelers to Ecuador in their native language, to learn about outstanding points of the city such as: architectural and historical monuments, theme parks, gastronomy, culture and customs. To meet the objective, stages of research and development were planned, including Desk research on the tourist attractions and history of Kaohsiung and relevant data of the city. Likewise, a survey was conducted among Ecuadorians to find out their interests regarding tourism data and interviews with designers and tourism operators to establish the content and design of the digital guide. Finally, through the Adobe InDesign program interactivity is designed and generated ... Within the classification, monuments, historical sites, and most recommended attractions are chosen to present in the project.
