La incidencia del riesgo país en la inversión extranjera directa y su impacto en el crecimiento económico ecuatoriano (2009 – 2020).

Abstract

This research work includes the study of the variables Country Risk (PR), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). It seeks to verify the incidence of Country Risk in the variation of direct Foreign Investment flows and in turn the impact that this has on Ecuadorian economic growth. The research is descriptive and correlational, using two statistical softwares: R and Eviews. In the first place, the literature review is carried out on the proposed variables, then the correlation between the variables is measured, which shows as results that the incidence of PR in FDI is low, however, the impact of the FDI in GDP is significant taking into account the inclusion of the infrastructure variable.
