Exploración de la metamorfosis del personaje Walter White como detonante narrativo en la historia de la serie “Breaking Bad”

Abstract

The present essay aims to explore the metamorphosis of the character Walter White in the Breaking Bad series, as a narrative trigger for the story, in order to demonstrate the transition of the character from Hero to Villain throughout the series. In this analysis there is a review of Vicent Gilligan, creator of the series, work done as showrunner and a synopsis of the history of Breaking Bad. For the realization of this academic essay, each season of the Breaking Bad series was analyzed, demonstrating the changes that arise in the character Walter White, from the beginning of the series to the end. All this with the purpose of showing the theoretical implementation for the transformation of the main protagonist of the series.
