| dc.description | INTRODUCCIÓN: La desobturación radicular es un procedimiento realizado en un diente previamente tratado, en busca de retirar todo material obturador de los conductos para realizar un nuevo tratamiento endodóntico. Entre las técnicas de desobturación están las manuales y las mecanizadas. OBJETIVO: Comparar la eficacia de la desobturación radicular utilizando técnicas manuales y mecanizadas. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Se realizó una investigación bibliográfica, de corte transversal, retrospectivo, de estudios in vitro sin límite de tiempo, centrándose en las técnicas de desobturación manual y mecanizada. Se basó en revisión de artículos científicos en metabuscadores Pubmed, science direct, google académico y biblioteca virtual de la UCSG. RESULTADOS: Se analizó una muestra de 32 artículos científicos, se evaluó las técnicas de desobturación mecanizada 70% y manual 30%; las limas que más predominaron fueron las limas mecanizadas Protaper Retreatment 27%, y las limas manuales Hedstrom en un 16%; en cuanto a desobturación en tercio medio en un 24% se observó sin resto de material con limas mecanizadas; en tercio apical un 29% sin resto de material con limas manuales. En cuanto al tiempo de trabajo un 79% fueron más rápidas con limas mecanizadas. CONCLUSIÓN: La técnica de desobturación de mayor uso es la mecanizada con limas protaper retreatment, que presenta resultados promedios en desobturación de tercio medio, pero mejores resultados en tercio apical; en cuanto al tiempo de trabajo, las limas mecanizadas resultaron las de menor tiempo durante la desobturación. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | INTRODUCTION: Root deobturation is a procedure performed on a previously treated tooth, seeking to remove all obturator material from the canals to perform a new endodontic treatment. Unblocking techniques include manual and mechanized techniques. OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy of root deobturation using manual and mechanized techniques. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A systematic, cross-sectional, retrospective investigation was carried out in in vitro studies with no time limi, focusing on manual and mechanized unblocking techniques. It was based on a review of scientific articles in metasearch engines Pubmed, science direct, academic google and UCSG virtual library. RESULTS: A sample of 32 scientific articles was analyzed, the mechanized 70% and manual 30% unblocking techniques were evaluated; the most predominant files were 27% Protaper Retreatment mechanized files, and Hedstrom manual files 16%; Regarding unobturation in the middle third, 24% were observed without the rest of the material with mechanized files; 29% in the apical third without the rest of the material with manual files. Regarding the working time, 79% were faster with mechanized files. CONCLUSION: The most widely used de-filling technique is mechanized with protaper retreatment files, which presents average results in middle third de-filling, but better results in apical third; In terms of working time, mechanized files were the ones with the shortest time during unobstruction. | en_US |
