Abstract

Ignacio is a 30-year-old man who comes to an appointment with an analyst, due to some rage explosions that he is having at work, which causes him to question his being because they are out of tune with his calm being. He will begin by talking about a previous relationship with a woman, who despite showing to be the ideal woman did not stop making him feel bad with his contempt. It will be that story that calls into question what until that moment was his response to the real situation, shaking the semblance that he had built to please the demand of the Other. And, when these elaborations fall, he will be naked in front of the emptiness of his own being, or in any case, in front of the emptiness that he found in the place of his being. The reading of this case, carried out from the Cases’s analysis will allow to get an idea of the weight that the signifiers of the parents can have on a subject, in addition to the relevance of ensuring one's own singularity.
