Aproximaciones filosóficas y psicoanalíticas sobre el mito en Occidente : reflexiones acerca de sus efectos en las subjetividades latinoamericanas.

Abstract

The degree work “Philosophical and psychoanalytic approaches to myth in the Western: reflections about its effects on Latin American subjectivities” aims to carry out an analysis of the theoretical notions around myth in the Western, through structuralist and poststructuralist postulates in order to recognize its effects on Latin American subjectivities. Supported by a qualitative approach, two Latin American cases are discursively analyzed due to its representative convergence of the various mythical discourses proposed in the work. The variables or units of analysis are: author’s indispensability, subjective division, State-Nation and Eurocentrism-Hellenocentrism. Latin American subjectivities are concluded and problematized as traversed mainly by colonial and capitalist discourses and their derivatives.
