Diseño y modelación técnica del sistema de alcantarillado pluvial para la Lotización Eloy Alfaro, perteneciente al cantón Guayaquil, ubicado en km. 20.5 vía Daule, provincia del Guayas.

Abstract

This work contains the design and technical modeling of the storm sewer system for the Eloy Alfaro subdivision, belonging to the Guayaquil Canton, located at km. 20.5 via Daule, Guayas province. The area to which the sewerage study and project is determined has an area of 17.96 hectares (179,600 m2). The "Eloy Alfaro" sector currently has the basic services of electricity, telephony, and drinking water. According to the field observation that was carried out and the interview carried out with the residents of the sector, it is known that the subdivision lacks sewerage, therefore, septic tanks are used. Additionally, the study sector does not have storm sewers, which causes major health problems in rainy seasons, be these: floods, presence of pests, dust, constant discomfort, among others. The project includes the compilation of preliminary information for the elaboration of the design, field investigations carried out. It also contains technical specifications for design and construction, obtained with the ArcMap and Google Earth programs, from which the curves for level. The hydraulic design of the network was carried out using the AKua program; and, as a reference, a budget and a valued schedule of the work. The design and later the construction of the Storm Sewer Network will complement the existing basic infrastructure, since it aims to contribute to the solution of one of the environmental sanitations and flooding problems that affect this area during periods of rain.
