La movilización feminista : acciones, sororidad y resistencias frente a la violencia de género en tiempos de COVID 19 en Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present research on feminist mobilization in times of Covid-19, has the objective of analyzing the actions that feminist organizations have carried out, in the face of cases of gender violence presented in the health crisis in the city of Guayaquil. In this sense, this unit of analysis has been selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling, while for the study, the qualitative approach, the hermeneutical method, and the descriptive level have been used, which have allowed the development and analysis of the information that was collected through the semi-structured interview, and the documentary review. For their part, the findings have shown that the three feminist organizations studied, despite their limited financial resources, have responded to situations of violence against women and LGBTIQ+ people, with the creation of strategies and initiatives that have been used through its digital platforms, and that have had significance throughout this health emergency.
