| Résumé: | The pymes are the productive and economic engine of Ecuador. Because large companies sometimes suffer from a lack of innovation or match much of the picture, small businesses have become the most effective way to keep the country moving and introduce new markets; however, it is necessary to analyze what its importance really is, focusing mainly on the financial sector. Using the example of the company Ferreterías y Quimicos SA. Ferrequimsa with data on its financial situation from 2014 to 2018, it was possible to analyze what the profitability of a medium or small company really is and what is actually the challenge that one assumes in a market subject to irregularities such as Ecuador; in addition, to clarify what would be the possible solutions to the failures that generate deficits in companies. |
| Description: | Las pymes son el motor productivo y económico del Ecuador. Debido a que las grandes empresas en ocasiones sufren de falta de innovación o equiparan gran parte del panorama, los pequeños emprendimientos se han vuelto en la forma más efectiva de mantener en movimiento al país e introducir nuevos mercados; sin embargo, es necesario analizar cuál es realmente su importancia, enfocándose principalmente en el sector financiero. Usando de ejemplo a la empresa Ferreterías y Químicos S.A. Ferrequimsa con datos de su situación financiera desde el año 2014 al 2018 se pudo analizar cuál es realmente la rentabilidad de una mediana o pequeña empresa y cual es en realidad el reto que asume una en un mercado sujeto a las irregularidades como lo es el de Ecuador; además, de aclarar cuáles serían las posibles soluciones a los fallos que generan déficit en las empresas. |
