M : La (in)tolerancia del fracaso.

Abstract

The following clinical case has been developed by using the technique case analysis and it was elaborated from a psychoanalytical approach, which will make the case easier to understand. The clinical case has been titled M: The (in)tolerance to failure and it covers the topic of the hysterical neurosis as a response to the feminine in the life of Magdalena, a woman who starts attending to sessions of analysis with a subjective urgency after her husband told her he didn´t want to live with her anymore and asked for some time to think if living by her side was worthy. There are signifiers masters that decided the response of femininity in Magdalena concerning the hysterical identification with her mother, because she discovers what is feminine in unfaithfulness, turning herself into “the perfect woman”. Based on what Magdalena says, it is intended to give a clinical reading of the case, the family history and the history of the symptom allow to place in context important elements about the joyment mode and its ghostly position, in order to elaborate and support the diagnostic hypothesis in the case analysis.
