| Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to support the composition of three themes with the integration of harmonic, melodic and songwriting elements of Marcos Vidal's music. These three themes reflect a narrative cycle with texts based on selected stories from the Bible, and with compositional features of the albums "Face to Face" and "25 Years" by Marcos Vidal. A methodology with qualitative approach of descriptive and experimental scope was used. The data collection instruments were the following: documentary analysis, analysis of audio recordings of the above-mentioned albums; Analysis of video recordings of two experts in composition and auditory analysis of the albums investigated. The investigation allowed the identification of several elements of composition, which, by integrating them with the harmonic elements of contemporary music, served for the composition of "Before all", a cycle formed by the songs "The Call", "The Agony" "The victory". This proposal was made thanks to the harmonic, melodic and songwriting resources of Marcos Vidal, which favored the sonority sought by the author, for the completion of the cycle. |
| Description: | El propósito de esta investigación fue sustentar la composición de tres temas con la integración de elementos armónicos, melódicos y de songwriting de la música de Marcos Vidal. Estos tres temas reflejan un ciclo narrativo con textos basados en relatos seleccionados de la Biblia, y con características compositivas de los álbumes “Cara a cara” y “25 Años” de Marcos Vidal. Se utilizó una metodología con enfoque cualitativo de alcance descriptivo y experimental. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron los siguientes: análisis documental, análisis de grabaciones de audio de los álbumes supra citados; análisis de grabaciones de video de dos expertos en composición y el análisis auditivo de los álbumes investigados. La investigación permitió la identificación de varios elementos de composición, que, al integrarlos con los elementos armónicos de la música contemporánea, sirvieron para la composición de “Antes de todo”, ciclo formado por las canciones “La llamada”, “La Agonía” y “La Victoria”. Esta propuesta fue realizada gracias a los recursos armónicos, melódicos y de songwriting de Marcos Vidal, los cuales favorecieron la sonoridad buscada por la autora, para la realización del ciclo. |
