Abstract

It is relevant to find a topic related to a phenomenon as frequent as violence in the institution (and increasingly) extremely interesting; lately this situation has represented a recurrent problem in schools. Upon perceiving this, the violent acts carried out by children in the classroom were investigated and located what the child's answers were when he experienced abuse at home. In this research the qualitative, descriptive methodology was used and interviews were conducted with teachers, children and the student-counseling center staff. This work is in accordance with the Constitution of Ecuador regarding the fifth section, about vulnerable groups; based on article 45 which ensures the physical and psychological well-being of the child. Nevertheless, three different violent answers that the child manifests in the school environment were located; In addition, it was observed that, although the constitution covers the rights of the child, the realities of each one are singular and it is not taken for granted that when regulation exists, violence will be eradicated. Therefore, it was found that not all children show the same symptoms after suffering abuse in their home; Some show social inhibitions and others respond by reproducing the violent scenes they learn at home.
