Estudio in vitro sobre el efecto de la apertura aplicando diferentes técnicas de desobturación.

Abstract

Introduction: Access to the root canal is a key and important initial step in any endodontic treatment, since through this you can achieve optimal disinfection or removal of gutta-percha in the root canal. Objective: To analyze how the type of opening performed affects the capacity of the different deobturation techniques (Protaper Universal retreatment and Profile) and defines the meaning of these is the most effective by means of a radiographic analysis. Materials and Methods: 56 sealed upper lateral incisors were divided into 4 groups, CP where the opening is made through the cingulum and the files were applied Profile for the process of deobturation, CU opening through the cingulum and files Protaper Universal Retreatment (PUR), IP opening through the incisal edge and profile files and finally IU incisal opening and PUR files. During the entire process, the working time per sample was timed. The amount of gutta percha remnant was evaluated in linear pixels. Results: None of the groups could remove the gutta percha in its completeness, however the incisal opening and the Profile files obtained better results. Conclusion: The opening significantly influences the process of desobturación and the profile of the files are more specific compared to PUR files.
