Influencia de la psicoterapia familiar con enfoque sistemático en el proceso de consolidación de la unidad de la familia. Estudio de casos en la ciudadela 9 de Octubre en la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to evaluate how Family Psychotherapy influences Systemic Approach in the consolidation process of the family unit at 9 Octubre neighborhood in the city of Guayaquil. After consulting the most renowned authors who have researched and written about the topics of family, psychotherapy and systemic method, and later scrutinizing the theoretical elements that characterize the family as a natural system on which society is based and psychotherapy as an effective treatment in helping them to find the solution to the problems that often afflict them, it was concluded that the psychotherapeutic procedure with a systemic approach, had a positive influence on the consolidation of the family unit in the neighborhood mentioned before, since in the results and analysis of the obtained, through the technique of in-depth interviews, applied to the 10 cases studied, the vast majority of the consultants said they had successfully solved their personal and family problems during the progress of the process of intervention carried out by them, or the psychotherapists that offered their professional services. Another finding was that, without having budgeted it at the beginning of the research, was the important role played by religious convictions in family conflicts and the way in which the psychotherapist must attend the spiritual dimension that, as was mentioned in this research, is consubstantial with the human being.
