Abstract

Magdalena comes to the consultation because her husband no longer wanted to maintain a loving relationship with her and asks Magdalena to tell her children, commenting on this event she shows tears, among other symptoms attached to the body. The case addresses an unfaithful husband, whom Magdalena declares inflated as a good husband full of many qualities, "unfaithful as every man." Magdalena a prepared woman, full of academic and work achievements, says she did not have much time for her home. His life revolves around losses and duels not yet overcome since childhood. It is located within a hysterical structure due to the symptoms and events that occur in its history. During the time of listening with the psychologist, the satisfaction of "perfect life" of this woman is broken to later talk about her family history, in which an unfaithful father remits and a mother dedicated to the home. He speaks of the mother somewhat with contempt, but he shows the father as an idealized figure, which leads to the return of several points that are important to sustain the present work such as enjoyment, paternal metaphor, the desire of the mother, Oedipus complex to establish the structural diagnostic hypothesis.
