Abstract

The following document presents the development of the Academic Services Building of the UCSG, located in the city of Guayaquil, Guayas province. The project´s objective is to integrate students and spaces through open and closed areas, interior and exterior; as well as a greater communication and relationship with the elements of the environment. The project is conceived by means of the investigation and pertinent analysis of the area and its limitations, to obtain the decision making in the formal and functional solutions, respecting the architectural program presented by the authorities. Similarly, the environment and the student routes are key elements in the confguration of the volumes and public square, as well as the disposition of the following areas: service, academic and administrative. The bilding is composed by two blocks, one destined for classrooms, ofces, storage spaces, food court; while the other houses the multipurpose room, which aims to open up to the plaza and extend its activities. Both, integrated by the square and the pedestrian routes.
