Abstract

This investigation was carried out in the General Villamil Playas canton, analyzing the reasons why the informal merchants of General Villamil Playas could not access formal financing sources and, therefore, offer a guide to generate an impact in the knowledge and development of the merchants and of General Villamil Playas as a canton. The main objective is to provide a consultancy that can contribute to improve not only their access to sources of formal financing, but also a long-term development of their socioeconomic level, proposing an inclusive-associative scheme that aids traders in their search for sources of financing. Through surveys carried out in the General Villamil Playas canton, historical data from international sources and local officials, sufficient information was obtained to identify the problems that exist and create an advisory document aimed at informal merchants that can provide legal, financial, accounting and administrative support, promoting an inclusive-associative organization that generates an added value to the human capital and that, ultimately, helps not only the merchants and their families, but also increases the socio-economic development of the entire canton of General Villamil Playas as a society.
