Propuesta de intervención para el desarrollo turístico de la comuna Chingazo Alto, provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

The community of Chingazo Alto of the city of Guano has a potential for tourism that was analyzed through the diagnosis of the tourism system where its main strength are the attractions including natural spaces and scheduled events. The present work tries to focus on the reality of the crucial moment in the Chingazo Alto community, where tourism development would be relevant to diversify the economy of the canton. The surveys made to the demand indicated that the potential visitors would be willing to consume this product of community tourism as long as it has the necessary facilities for its enjoyment. These facilities should be implemented with community collaboration, but with the contingent of GAD Municipal de Guano and the Ministry of Tourism within their area of action. The city has had international cooperation before and it is expected that the community will be able to manage this aid again to support local development.
