Propuesta de rediseño de la oferta turística del complejo Vulcano Green en el cantón Penipe, provincia del Chimborazo.

Abstract

The present research project is intended to redesign the tourist offer of the Vulcan green tourist complex in the Canton Penipe, Province of Chimborazo, for which a document review was carried out and to identify the potential of the existing accommodation it was determined the status of the tourist system and its adjacent area, through the information collection instruments such as direct observation, interviews with the main authority of Canton Penipe and the owner of the tourist complex to have more accurate information on the research topic, also a survey of visitors to the tourist complex to get a background check on their profiles, motivations, accommodation perspectives and recreation offering the facilities of Vulcan green resort. In conclusion, the redesign of the recreation offer is proposed for complementary tourist supply, which allows it to give added value to a well - positioned attraction in the market. Having identified the existing weaknesses in the tourism sector, with the proposal of the current project is put into consideration a plan of improvement will be taken into place by creating strategies, activities, budget and timing of activities, to improve the tourist offer of the complex so that time is prolonged the stay of tourists in the Canton Penipe is constitute as alternative tourist for domestic tourists, foreigners and help the local economy.
