Abstract

In the following case study an analysis was produced base d on the psychoanalytic clinic; supporting a structural diagnosis, drawn from the use of theoretical elements belonging to the proposed theoretical framework. As such, is formulated that the patient is situated on the side of a hysterical neurosis, it was established that a jouissance linked to the deprivation, and a stance about her desire, both, characteristic of the mentioned structure were determined. Said stance about her desire is related with keeping the same unsatisfied, this is shown in Berta’s constant sabotage and sacrificial position. The identification process is also a theoretic element which allows the deconstruction of the clinic case, in Berta is possible to denote how an identification can offer the subject an attempt to solve the feminity enigma; in the following case, by becoming a mother.
