Abstract

The present work is an analysis about the diagnosis in psychosis, emphasizing the elementary phenomena, and differentiating the types of diagnoses that can help us with classical psychiatry, which is still on the side of the clinic, and psychoanalysis. It can often happen that the neurosis-psychosis distinction becomes a bit confusing, that is, the purpose of this research is to clarify and know how to differentiate psychosis at the moment of diagnosing it. In this way, after having established the elements to support its contrast, we can point to a good treatment for the subject, use the tools that psychoanalysis offers u s, and within this, also an introduction to the last teaching of Lacan. The field of psychosis, could be said to be extensive and difficult to understand and therefore to diagnose. That is why the research aims to clarify and expand on what we know of elementary phenomena in order to facilitate the differential diagnosis from a psychoanalytic conceptual framework. It is not enough to perceive a structure, it is necessary to be able to reach a level of understanding that allows the transmission of knowledge, not only to others, but also for the therapist who makes the effort, and is at a lower clinical level because he can not recognize what is manifesting in his practice.
