Diseño de productos turísticos para personas con discapacidad motriz en el destino Guayaquil.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is that people with motor disabilities have the possibility to visit the different attractions of the city of Guayaquil, by what there was proposed the design of two tourist products in which there is included the improvement of the tourist plant (accommodation and restoration), terrestrial transport and the use of the facility. The first one is directed to national tourists and the second one to resident persons of the city of Guayaquil. With the result of the analysis of the demand, it was possible to demonstrate through surveys that people with motor disabilities they are willing to visit the city. The tourist plant (hotels and restaurants) was evaluated using methodological tokens and where the percentage of accessibility was found, there were realized interviews with operators of the city and with an operator specialized for this segment so that they were giving us their point of view regarding accessibility in the city, It also held a focal group composed of 8 representatives of institutions that benefit to these people, in which they expressed their support for the project because it benefits and includes this market in the tourism sector since there are very few who do something about it.
