Propuesta de desarrollo turístico del Parque Recreativo Ecológico Perla, cantón Lago Agrio, provincia de Sucumbíos.

Abstract

To elaborate this thesis proposal, the Director of Tourism of the GAD Lago Agrio was asked to approve this Degree Project, which focuses on a "Proposal for the development of tourism at PARQUE ECOLOGICO PERLA (Perla Ecological Recreation Park) located in Lago Agrio, province of Sucumbíos ". Engineer Hernán Yunga who is the administrator ofperla park, made the diagnosis of the current state of the park and the possible improvements that can be made to allow the development of the thesis project and how it will improve the development of it. Some field visits were carried out in the company of the park administrator, to clarify the guidelines needed to define the intervention proposals focused on the tourist revival of the place, since it has an excellent potential. As for the market study to determine the tourist supply and demand in the city, 100 surveys were conducted targeting the populationand domestic and foreign tourists visiting the city, resulting in a high tourist influx. Finally, an interview was conducted with the Director of Tourism, in order to know the tourist situation of the city and the plans or projects that have the Municipality of Lago Agrio, to enhance the tourist activity in the different attractions with which it counts area. In conclusion with the information and data collected from the different players in the tourist area in the city of Lago Agrio, it was concluded that in previous years the interest of the authorities was null, but with the new administration has tried to boost tourism since different perspectives considering that the park has hundreds of birds, fish, trees and wild animals that keep the interestof the tourists. Although they still have a lot of work ahead, you can see some improvements in this area, definitely the city of Lago Agrio has a lot of tourism potential, so making a good proposal that allows to boost tourism in the area, would be the ideal complement.
