| dc.description | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las afectaciones de la violencia intrafamiliar vivida por los adolescentes del cantón Pedro Moncayo, en sus habilidades sociales; con la finalidad de proponer estrategias de fortalecimiento en los adolescentes. Fue un estudio con enfoque mixto, descriptivo, transversal, con el método no experimental, en donde se aplicó una encuesta a los estudiantes de una unidad educativa de Pedro Moncayo y entrevistas a docentes, personal del DECE y estudiantes de la institución. Los principales resultados indican que los adolescentes optan por ocultar las situaciones de violencia que son perpetuadas por sus padres, esto se debe a una combinación de miedo, temor, dependencia emocional y ausencia de apoyo de la figura materna, todo ello, refuerza y naturaliza la violencia en la estructura familiar. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research aims to analyze the impact of domestic violence on adolescents in the Pedro Moncayo canton's social skills, with the goal of proposing strategies to strengthen them. This study used a mixed-method, descriptive, cross-sectional approach, and a non-experimental method. A survey was administered to students at a school in Pedro Moncayo and interviews were conducted with teachers, DECE staff, and students. The main results indicate that adolescents choose to hide situations of violence perpetrated by their parents. This is due to a combination of fear, apprehension, emotional dependence, and lack of maternal support, all of which reinforce and naturalize violence within the family structure | en_US |
