Abstract

The degree work presented below showed how subjectivity, the development of a person, the influence of society, the discourse and the position of the Other have an influence in love, a love which can become something Unheimlich. By a bibliographic review, analysis of vignettes and a clinical case, it was possible to support the information presented. This degree work has a social, psychological and psychoanalytical approach. Demonstrating that love is changeable and factors that turn the meaning of love into something unknown. The objective of the research was achieved, which focused on analyzing the sinister side of love through the descriptive method for a clinical approach. This method was used, since books and articles that talk about love from the nineties to the present were studied. A direct knowledge was maintained in order to knot the theory and the cases presented, and thus achieve an analysis of the topics. From this research and the necessary clinical reading, it was obtained that the sinister can be present in everyday life situations. In love, a bond with an Other is generated, it is common that this love bond, familiar and known, can become something frightening for the subject.
