Repercusión del trastorno depresivo de un miembro del subsistema parental en la manifestación de crisis paranormativas en el sistema familiar.

Abstract

The objective of this titling work was to analyze the repercussion of the depressive disorder of a member of the parental subsystem, in the manifestation of paranormative crises within the family system, through the descriptive method and bibliographic review, for the knowledge of the incidence of this disorder in the family system. This research is important since, generally, when diagnosing a patient with a mental disorder, in this case a depressive disorder, the family system, in which it develops, is usually left aside and it is not taken into account how the family members may be affected by such a diagnosis. The symptoms related to depression such as: loss of interest in activities that previously generated pleasure, lack of energy, irritability, among others, tend to destabilize the family system, generating paranormative crises, which occur unexpectedly and are not related to the life cycle of the family. To achieve the objective of this research, structured interviews were applied to professionals in the area of psychology and to the partner who lives with the person diagnosed with the depressive disorder. From the results obtained, it was concluded that there are negative repercussions in the family system when presenting the symptoms and the diagnosis of the member of the parental subsystem. As it is an interpretative type of research, we hope that the user uses the information from this research to better understand the consequences of this diagnosis in the family system.
