Abstract

The idea of the project of the reception center for retirees, was born to cover a need that requires retired people belonging to the city of Machala, so that they can perform different activities such as: health, recreation, learning workshop and recreation. The development of this project is carried out in accordance with research conducted on user behavior needs and demands that require, so that in this way they can provide a space where they can carry out the aforementioned activities and give them the opportunity to remain a useful part of society. The general idea of the project is to create interactive, multifunctional spaces that allow to stimulate and develop their skills, skills and undertakings, established in functional, spatial and psychological aspects; in order to propose to the user an interrelation between the interior and exterior space, thus providing a suitable habitat for the elderly.
