Abstract

Machala is a port city that stands out in the import of bananas. It has several user care centres that have been installed in buildings that have complied with its use. One example is the center for retirees, due to the lack of its own space, the association has been installed in the former hospital of the IESS. The lack of a facility to cater for the needs of retirees is one of the major problems. It is therefore proposed to design a shelter for associate retirees. The shelter for retirees in the city of Machala is a design that arises from the need of retired seniors to have their own space where they can perform their activities and have all the necessary amenities. The following work shows the preliminary survey of the field, as well as the result that emerged from the analysis of the work.
